The third edition of the painting open call “Towards Abstraction” now has its selected works and artists. Once again, the submissions stood out for their quality, diversity, and conceptual depth, reinforcing this initiative as a reference point for contemporary creation and the exploration of new visual languages.
After the jury’s evaluation, these are the selected pieces for this edition:
- 24.02.26, by Pablo Rodríguez González
- Aéras, by Alfredo Virgüez
- Alquimia de fuego, by Elisa Serrano
- Bali entre el agua y lo divino, by Manuela Ferrer
- El apagón, by Máxima Sombra
- El mundo, by Miguel Ángel Duarte
- Historias chiquitas, by Laura Asaro
- Horizonte del alma, by Pol Peiró
- Horizontes fragmentado, by Jesús Andrés Villamil Tarazona
- Islandia 3, by Esther Martínez Aguayo

The selected works showcase a wide range of approaches to abstraction: from explorations of color and materiality to spiritual inquiry, memory, landscape, and symbolic transformation. Each piece contributes a unique perspective that enriches the collective dialogue of the exhibition.
In the coming weeks, we will contact the artists whose works will be acquired and become part of TooQ’s art collection. See you next year!
